'My Taxidermy Angel' is a graphic novel that tells a bittersweet story of a taxidermy angel and its devout creator. Through these characters, the novel explores themes of religious trauma, queerness, grief and the forgiving one self. Feeling comforted by those that hurt us and worshipping those that are considered monsters, and wanting to remember your darkest days as something beautiful, the novel explores the complicated feelings that accompany use when trying to heal from our past.
